Excursion to Isla de Lobos
Travel in a speedboat from Lanzarote to the small and uninhabited island Isla de Lobos. Swim in the crystal clear sea and explore the island of Lobos on your own.
The Lobos and dolphins experience
The small uninhabited island has its own charm. It is located between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, near the town of Corralejo. For this reason it was necessary for a long time to first cross over to Fuerteventura and then take from there a boat to Lobos.
A speedboat offers now the opportunity to take a trip to the island of Lobos directly from Lanzarote. The fast and agile boat will take you to the island, where you will have time to enjoy the crystal clear waters or go hiking.
The jet boat that you take to Lobos is also used for various dolphin trips in Lanzarote. As a participant, you benefit from their great experience in finding dolphins. If dolphins are sighted on the way, the boat will drive close to the dolphins without disturbing them. With a bit of luck you will have the opportunity to see dolphins in the open ocean.
The whole trip lasts 5 hours and costs 64€ for adults and 45€ for children (<12 years). Transfer, drinks and a snack are allready included in the price.
Isla de Lobo tour itinerary
Depending on where you are staying, our coach will pick you up in the morning from your accommodation or a nearby pick-up point in Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise and Arrecife (centre) and take you to the port of Puerto del Carmen.
A modern Jet-Boat awaits you there. Choose your seat and prepare for a fast-paced crossing to Lobos Island. As soon as all guests are on board, we set off for the small island between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
The journey from Puerto del Carmen to Isla de Lobos takes approximately 90 minutes. Enjoy views of Lanzarote’s volcanic coastline, passing the marina of Puerto Calero and heading south along the coast of the Ajaches mountain ranges. Keep an eye out for flying fish and dolphins along the way.
Once we reach Isla de Lobos you can explore the island or take a dip in the crystal clear waters. You have a stay of about 90 minutes on the small island.
During the stop, the jet boat crew will provide you with a picnic lunch and drinks.
After visiting the island we start our way back to Puerto del Carmen. Again, you have time to enjoy the boat trip. Let your soul dangle and enjoy the vastness of the Atlantic.
At the port of Puerto del Carmen you will disembark and we will take you back to where we picked you up in the morning.
The speedboat tour to Isla de Lobos is a very exclusive tour, as otherwise the island of Lobos can only be visited from Fuerteventura. Take the opportunity to get to know another Canary Island.
