Events Lanzarote in February 2023
February is all about carnival in Lanzarote. On 10.2. the festivites start in Arrecife and then there will be celebrations until mid-March. All carnival events as well as the programs of each municipality can be found in the article Carnival 2023 in Lanzarote.
But even if the carnival rules, the culture continues to be valued and cultivated. Below we present the best events in February 2023. We can expect flamenco, dance and much more.
11th and 12th of February: Dance Performance „Solos en el Jardín“
Die Zentren für Kultur, Kunst und Tourismus auf Lanzarote präsentieren modernen Tanz in den Touristenzentren Kaktusgarten und Jameos del Agua. An zwei Tagen werden in 45-Minütigen Abständen insgesamt 18 Tanzdarbietungen präsentiert.
16th of February: Concert with Estrella & Kiki Morente
Within a few days, all tickets for this top-class flamenco concert have been sold. The reason is the two flamenco stars of the Morente family. Another factor is the always imposing concert hall of Jameos del Agua.
17th of Febuary: Hybrid Missam in San Bartolomé
For seven months, once in every parish on the island of Lanzarote, the sung Mass Hybrid Missam can be heard in a church.

Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise. The timple is a traditional Canarian stringed instrument, small like a ukulele. In the Museum of the Timple, concerts usually take place once a month, most of which feature the timple as the protagonist.
La noche en Mala. Every Saturday, the Restaurante Don Quijote in Mala offers live music from 8 p.m. The programme changes from week to week between flamenco, African music, reggae and many other styles.
